Will Reeve, Anson Carter, And Arda Ocal Set For Brand-New MSG Network Series “The MSG Hockey Show”

“THE MSG HOCKEY SHOW” PREMIERES FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18 AT 10:30PM

New York, NY (November 3, 2016) MSG Networks announced today that the brand-new series “The MSG Hockey Show,” presented by Geico, a fun, fast-paced half-hour of opinion and conversation of all things hockey, is set to premiere on MSG Network on Friday, November 18th at 10:30pm. Young, quick-witted, and dynamic hosts Will Reeve, former NHL star Anson Carter, and Arda Ocal weigh in on the week’s hot topics in the National Hockey League.

Segments will include: Short Shifts, where each panelist has 30 seconds to state his opinion on a current NHL topic; Line Change, NHL players talk about a non-hockey topic (what would they do if they didn’t play hockey?); and Market Watch, where the panel discusses players and teams trending up and down.

Will Reeve is a reporter, correspondent and contributing anchor for ESPN’s SportsCenter team. Will’s role with both ESPN and MSG Networks is to bring his perspective to potential stories and present them in his unique style, appealing to younger sports fans yet resonating with all viewers. Will is also an ambassador and Board Member for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, which benefits those affected by spinal cord injuries. He is also leader of the Reeve Foundation Champions Committee, which is dedicated to fostering multi-generational involvement in the cause. A 2014 graduate of Middlebury (VT) College with a B.A in English and American Literatures, Will splits his time between Connecticut and New York City.

NHL veteran Anson Carter has worked with MSG Networks as a studio analyst for New York Rangers telecasts, including coverage of the regular season, Stanley Cup Playoffs and the Stanley Cup Final. Over the course of his 11 NHL seasons from 1996 through 2007, Carter played in 674 games, producing 202 goals and 219 assists with the New York Rangers and seven other teams. In 2005, Carter founded Big Up Entertainment, a production company that produces and develops film & TV shows as well as music. A native of Toronto, Ontario, Carter attended Michigan State University.

Arda Ocal is a 16-year broadcaster having previously worked at The Score Television Network, The Weather Network as a national morning show reporter, and for several years on AHL and OHL hockey broadcasts as a host, analyst, and play-by-play announcer. Most recently he worked for WWE as an international host. Recently Arda created the website “Be A Superhero Today,” which is an inspirational website to promote acts of kindness around the world.
