Saturday capped off a tough weekend for Knicks Gaming.
After a loss to Cavs Legion GC Friday, Knicks Gaming tried to get back in gear with an early matinee matchup against Grizz Gaming. Unfortunately for the home side, they were on the receiving end of another “L,” falling, 69-61.
Knicks Gaming’s strategy was to ride the dynamic duo of G O O F Y 7 5 7 and IdrisDaGoat6 down in the low block. G O O F Y set it off early with this thunderous jam in the first quarter.

It was mostly back-and-forth until the very end of the period when this momentum-changing dunk gave Grizz Gaming the initiative at the conclusion of the quarter.

That shifted the momentum of the game, as Grizz Gaming would go on a run to take a 7-point lead into the halftime interval.
Powered by an 11-2 run to end the second quarter, @GrizzGaming closed out the first half strong with a 34-27 lead over @KnicksGaming

Down 15 in the fourth quarter, IdrisDaGoat6 tried to ignite a comeback.

In the end, it was too little too late, as Knicks Gaming suffered back-to-back setbacks on successful days.

STAT OF THE DAY: G O O F Y and IdrisDaGoat6 racked up the points with a combined 46, but no other player reached double figures.
