MSG Networks (NYSE: MSGN) today announced that “Knicks Night Live” and “Rangers Night Live,” which will feature in-depth analysis and expert commentary on both teams’ recent draft selections and the upcoming NBA and NHL free agency periods, will debut on Monday, June 25th. The weekly, three-part series for both teams will premiere on Monday, June 25th, with “Rangers Night Live” airing at 8:00 pm, followed by “Knicks Night Live” at 8:30 pm.

Rangers host and reporter John Giannone will be joined on the “Rangers Night Live” broadcasts by analysts Steve Valiquette and Dave Maloney. “Knicks Night Live” will then feature Al Trautwig, alongside analysts Alan Hahn and Wally Szczerbiak.

The 30-minute shows will look to provide Knicks and Rangers fans with a fresh perspective on their team’s recent drafts, with increased analysis on each first round selection. The Knicks added to their promising young core last night when they drafted small forward Kevin Knox out of Kentucky with the 9th overall pick in the NBA Draft. And with three first round picks (9th, 26th and 28th) in tonight’s NHL Draft, it will be an exciting weekend for the Rangers organization and the future of the franchise.

After the premiere, the next two episodes will air on Monday, July 2nd and Monday, July 9th, which will allow for fans to stay close to the action through the start of free agency as well and up-to-date on the latest team news. “Knicks Night Live” and “Rangers Night Live” will each include extensive coverage of the NBA and NHL free agency periods, which officially starts on July 1st for both leagues.

All three episodes of “Knicks Night Live” and “Rangers Night Live” will also be streamed on MSG GO, MSG Networks’ live streaming and video on demand platform for smartphones, tablets and computers.
