JORDAN BACHYNSKI NAMED AS REPLACEMENT FOR 2016 NBA D-LEAGUE ALL-STAR TEAM

WHITE PLAINS, February 9, 2016 – The NBA Development League announced today that Westchester Knicks center Jordan Bachynski has been named as a replacement on the Eastern Conference team at the 2016 NBA D-League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire. The game, featuring 24 top prospects from the NBA’s official minor league, will air live on NBA TV and NBA TV Canada on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 2:00 p.m. ET from Toronto’s Ricoh Coliseum. Bachynski joins his teammate, Jimmer Fredette, who will participate in both the NBA D-League All-Star Game and Three-Point Contest.

Bachynski, 7-2, 254 pounds, was originally acquired by the Westchester Knicks on Feb. 13, 2015. Appearing and starting in 32 games for Westchester this season, Bachynski is averaging 13.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks over 26.3 minutes per game and currently ranks third in the league in blocks (2.6 blocks) and eighth in field goal percentage (0.596).
