Pick A Winner Game for the NY Rangers Official Rules

ELIGIBILITY: The Pick ‘Em Game (“Predictive Game”) is open to legal residents of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, 18 or older, who are subscribers to a cable or satellite provider that offers MSG or MSG Plus as of November 25, 2018. Employees of MSGN Holdings, L.P. (“Sponsor”), MSG Networks, Inc., New York Rangers, LLC (the “Rangers”), the National Hockey League, its member teams and NHL Enterprises, L.P. (collectively, “NHL Entities”), and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising agents and promotional partners,and their immediate families (parent, child, spouse or sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related) of such individuals are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this Predictive Game. Predictive Game is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

GAME PERIODS: The Predictive Game will be available for play during select Rangers games, the dates of which will be announced in the MSG GO application (each, a “Game Period”).

TO ENTER: If you have not already done so, download the MSG GO application to your smartphone and follow the directions provided to set-up an account. Downloading the application is free. You will need to verify that you currently subscribe to a cable or satellite service that offers the MSG Network channels. During any Game Period, once you have logged into your account, tap on the “Pick ‘Em” tab and follow the directions to play. Participants who answer the most questions correctly, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be entered into the drawing. For example, if at least one (1) participant answers all four (4) questions correctly then you must answer all four (4) questions correctly to be entered into the drawing. If no one answers all four (4) questions correctly but at least one (1) participant answers three (3) questions correctly then you must answer three (3) questions correctly to be entered into the drawing, and so on. You can only answer any question and play in any Game Period once. Entries in excess of any stated limitation will be void. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. All entries become the property of Sponsor.

DRAWINGS: Game Period Drawings: One (1) potential Game winner will be selected in a random drawing held following the end of each Game Period from all eligible entries received for that Game Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for that Game Period. Nonwinning entries from one (1) Game Period will not be included in any other Game Period’s drawing. Grand Prize Drawing: One (1) potential Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing held on or about April 4, 2019 from all eligible entries received for all Game Periods combined. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for all Game Periods combined. Sponsor’s decision with respect to winner determination is final and binding.

WINNER NOTIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS: Potential winners will be notified by phone and/or e-mail with instructions on how to claim the prize and must respond to the initial notification within the time period stated in that notification. Potential winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within seven (7) days of date of notification in order to claim prize. If a potential winner does not respond to the initial notification within the time period stated, a prize or prize notification is returned as undelivered, or a potential winner cannot be contacted or fails to sign and return all required documents within the required time period or is not in compliance with these Official Rules, such potential winner may be disqualified and forfeits the prize. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may award the prize to an alternate potential winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries received for the drawing at issue.  

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”): Grand Prize: Grand Prize will be of a $250 value and may include but will not be limited to team merchandise, gift card, tickets, and scratch-off cards. Grand Prize will be announced prior to that drawing. ARV: $250. Game Prizes (one (1) per Game Period): The Game Prize for each Game Period will be announced in the MSG GO application at the commencement of the applicable Game Period and will range in value from $25 – $100 and may include but will not be limited to team merchandise, gift card, tickets, and scratch-off cards. ARV: $25-100 each. Gift cards, scratch-off cards and other tickets or vouchers are subject to terms and conditions stated thereon, which may include expiration dates or other exclusions or restrictions. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, vouchers or certificates. Sponsor is not responsible if game is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason in which event that portion of prize is forfeited in its entirety, no substitution will be provided except as in Sponsor’s sole discretion, and winner will not be reimbursed for tickets. Seating to be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Tickets may be subject to standard rain-check policies and procedures. By accepting ticket prize, winner agrees to abide by any terms, conditions and restrictions provided by the ticket. Winner and guest agree to abide by all venue rules and regulations. Failure to do may result in forfeiture of prize. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, if any. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Limit one (1) Game Prize per person.

PUBLICITY GRANT: Each winner, by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, user name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information, for advertising, trade and promotional purposes, in any manner, in any and all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide in perpetuity, without further compensation or notification to, or permission from, winner. 

GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, each entrant agrees (a) to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor and Predictive Game administrators selected by Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects; and (b) that Sponsor, MSG Networks, Inc., the Rangers, NHL Entities, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising agents and promotional partners, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prizes or participation in this Predictive Game. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered or garbled entries or email; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Predictive Game, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Predictive Game, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Predictive Game-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Predictive Game. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants’ or to any other person’s computer or mobile device related to or resulting from participating in this Predictive Game or downloading materials from or use of the website or the MSG GO application. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Predictive Game, MSG GO application or website or who are in violation of these Official Rules or who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Should any portion of the Predictive Game be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Predictive Game and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the winner(s) for the drawing(s) at issue from all eligible, non-suspect entries received for such drawing(s) prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these Official Rules. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses. Information submitted in connection with this Predictive Game will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at http://corporate.msgnetworks.com/privacy/.

WINNERS LIST: For the names of the winners (available after April 4, 2019), send a #10 self-addressed stamped envelope to: Pick ‘Em Predictive Game for Rangers Winners, MSG Networks, 11 Pennsylvania Plaza, 3^rdFloor, New York, NY 10001, Attention:  Ad Sales Department, for receipt no later than May 4, 2019.
