New York, NY (June 1, 2022) – After the Rangers’ series-clinching Game 7 victory in the second round, MSG Networks announced today its coverage plans for the team’s upcoming Eastern Conference Finals matchup against Tampa Bay. The network will air a half-hour pregame show and an expanded one-hour postgame show for every Eastern Conference Finals telecast, starting with Game 1 tonight at 7:30pm.
The studio coverage each game will again feature host John Giannone, alongside former Rangers goalie and New York Emmy Award-winning analyst Steve Valiquette. Legendary Rangers goalie and franchise icon Henrik Lundqvist, who worked every game during the Rangers’ opening round and select second round games, will be back in the studio for Games 2 and 4 during the Eastern Conference Finals. Former Rangers goalie Martin Biron will return for Game 1 in the series after working select games in the previous round.
All Rangers postseason coverage airing on MSG Networks will also be available on MSG GO, the network’s live streaming and video on demand platform.
