MSG NETWORKS ANNOUNCES PROGRAMMING LINEUP FOR WEEK OF MONDAY, APRIL 27TH
Lineup to Include Knicks Games from the 2011-12 Season and Decade-Themed Nights
for the Rangers, Islanders and Devils, Starting Today with Classic Games from the 1980’s
New York, NY (April 27, 2020) – MSG Networks (NYSE: MSGN) today announced its programming lineup for the upcoming week for both MSG and MSG+, beginning today, Monday, April 27th.
The lineup will include top Knicks games and moments from the 2011-12 season, which featured Jeremy Lin’s improbable rise to NBA stardom. The coverage will extend through the weekend with a full day of “In-60’s,” 60-minute versions of games from that season, airing on Saturday, May 2nd starting at 2pm. The network will then cap off its week-long Knicks programming marathon with full-length game telecasts throughout the day and night on Sunday May 3rd, beginning at 10am.
During the week, MSG Networks will also continue with its decade-themed nights for the Rangers, Islanders and Devils, providing fans with a great look back at classic games each night from the 1980’s, 1990’s, 2000’s and 2010’s. Starting today, viewers can tune in to watch John Vanbeisbrouk in net lead the Rangers to a win in Game 1 of the ’86 Patrick Division Semifinals, Ken Morrow’s series-clinching overtime goal to send the Islanders to the ‘84 Patrick Division Finals or the Devils’ thrilling win in Game 7 of the ’88 Patrick Division Finals.
A complete lineup for the week on both MSG and MSG+ can be found below, including the schedule for its new remote weeknight talk show, “MSG 150 at Home,” which will first air on MSG at 5pm every Monday through Friday. The programming throughout the week will also be available on MSG GO, MSG Networks’ live streaming and video on demand platform for smartphones, tablets and computers.
