Lineup This Week to Feature Classic NBA and NHL Games from a Different Decade Each
Night, Starting Today with Knicks, Rangers, Islanders and Devils Games from the 1980’s
New York, NY (April 13, 2020) – MSG Networks (NYSE: MSGN) today announced its programming lineup for the upcoming week for both MSG and MSG+, beginning today, Monday, April 13th.
The lineup this week will feature classic Knicks, Rangers, Islanders and Devils games from a different decade each night, starting today with a look back at the 1980’s and continuing with the 1990’s, 2000’s and 2010’s. Throughout the week, viewers will get to relive some of the most iconic sports moments from the court and ice over the last forty years, including Bobby Nystrom’s game-winning overtime goal in Game 6 of the 1980 Stanley Cup Finals that gave the Islanders the first of their four consecutive championships or Jason Arnott’s game-winning double overtime goal in Game 6 of the 2000 Stanley Cup Finals that lifted the Devils to the title. The games during the week will also feature vintage and historic performances from basketball and hockey greats such as Bernard King, Patrick Ewing, Mike Richter, Martin Brodeur and more.
Here’s a look at some of the programming highlights airing this week:
