MSG Networks Announces New NBA Draft Programming
“Knicks Draft Preview” to Air Tonight at 8:00pm ET, Followed by a “Knicks Draft Night Special”
Featuring Live Updates and Analysis During the Draft, Starting on Wednesday at 8:30pm ET
New York, NY (November 17, 2020) – With the 2020 NBA Draft set to get underway, MSG Networks (NYSE: MSGN) today announced new NBA Draft programming to get fans ready for the action. The in-depth coverage will kick-off with a “Knicks Draft Preview” tonight at 8:00pm ET, featuring Bill Pidto, Alan Hahn and Wally Szczerbiak. The Knicks analysts will break down the play some of the top prospects in the draft and discuss potential targets for the Knicks, who will be selecting 8th overall in the first round.
Viewers can then tune in on Wednesday night from 8:30 – 11:00pm ET for the network’s live “Knicks Draft Night Special” as Bill Pidto, Alan Hahn, Wally Szczerbiak and John Wallace deliver real-time updates and instant analysis after each selection. The Knicks’ eventual 8th pick will join the show for a live interview that night as well.
MSG Networks will have increased draft content as well on its new weekday morning show, MSG A.M., which airs from 8:00 – 9:00am ET every Monday through Friday. Former St. John’s star and college basketball analyst Tarik Turner will appear as a guest on Wednesday to preview the draft. And following the draft, two of the newest Knicks will join the show on Thursday morning – the team’s 27th and 38th overall selections.
The draft programming throughout the week will also be available for viewing on MSG GO, the network’s live streaming and video on demand platform for smartphones, tablets and computers.
