NEW YORK ISLANDERS TELECAST SCHEDULE
81 Regular Season Games To Be Telecast on MSG Networks
All MSG Networks Games and Pre- and Postgame Coverage Available on MSG GO
Regular Season Opener: Islanders at Blue Jackets – Friday, October 6 – 7:00 p.m.
New York, NY (September 14, 2017) – MSG Networks, the television home of the New York Islanders, announced today that 81 regular season games and four preseason games will be on MSG+ and MSG GO this season. MSG Networks’ Islanders game telecasts start Monday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m. on MSG+ when the team visits Madison Square Garden to face-off against the crosstown rivals New York Rangers. The regular season schedule kicks off on Friday, October 6 at 7:00 p.m. on MSG+ when the Islanders travel to Columbus, Ohio and Nationwide Arena to take on the Columbus Blue Jackets. All MSG Networks preseason and regular season games, in addition to pre- and postgame coverage, will be available on MSG GO, MSG Networks’ live streaming and video on demand platform for smartphones, tablets and computers. Brendan Burke returns for his second year as the Islanders’ play-by-play announcer and is joined by game analyst and Islanders legend Butch Goring, who enters his eighth season. Shannon Hogan returns as host and reporter for her fourth season and “The Hockey Maven” Stan Fischler returns for as correspondent for all Islanders home games.
Islanders game telecasts, presented by Geico, will be preceded by the 30-minute pregame show and immediately followed by the “Mercedes-Benz Islanders Postgame Show.”
