RANGERS PLAYOFF JOURNEY BEGINS ON MSG NETWORKS ON TUESDAY, APRIL 18TH AT 7:00PM
MSG Networks to Telecast Games 1, 2, and 4, and If Necessary Games 5 and 7 Game 6 To Be Determined
Exclusive Pre- and Post-Game Shows to Air Before and After Every Rangers Playoff Game
New York, NY (April 16, 2023) – With the New York Rangers set to drop the puck and begin their Stanley Cup Playoffs run, MSG Networks today announced its official telecast schedule for the team’s first round matchup against the New Jersey Devils, starting with Game 1 at 7:00pm on Tuesday, April 18th. MSG Networks will have game coverage of games 1, 2, and 4 of the series, as well as games 5 and 7 if necessary.
MSG Networks, the season-long home of the New York Rangers, will have exclusive pre-game coverage before every game of the series, and an expanded post-game show after every single game as well.
MSG Networks’ game telecasts will feature play-by-play announcer and Hockey Hall of Famer Sam Rosen with analyst Joe Micheletti. Michelle Gingras will serve as interviewer/reporter throughout the series.
John Giannone will host MSG’s studio coverage alongside former Rangers goalie Steve Valiquette and former Rangers Captain Dave Maloney. Rangers legend Henrik Lundqvist will join the studio team for select games.
MSG Networks’ complete schedule for the Rangers’ first round series can be seen below. All Rangers postseason coverage airing on MSG Networks will also be available on MSG GO, the network’s live streaming and video on demand platform. All games will also be on 98.7FM ESPN New York radio.
