Coverage of Game 1 at Nassau Coliseum between the Islanders and Penguins will get underway on MSG+ at 6:30pm on Wednesday, April 10th with the “Ford Islanders Tailgate Live” show. Hosted by Shannon Hogan, the 30-minute, tailgate special will air leading into the network’s official pregame show before each home game at Nassau Coliseum during the series. Analyst AJ Mleczko will also contribute to the network’s coverage for select games during the series.
To celebrate the team’s playoff run, original Islanders-focused programming will be featured in “MSG Shorts” after each game, which will tap into the fan culture and put a spotlight on Islanders players and coaches on and off the ice. MSG Networks will also re-air some of the best Islanders games from the regular season throughout the week.
