Brand New Episode of “Beginnings” Set to Follow Draft Special – “Beginnings: Justin Pugh” Will be Telecast at 10:30PM on MSG and 11PM MSG+
New York, NY (April 25, 2017) – MSG Networks will telecast the New York Giants Draft Special –Giants Draft Night Live Presented by Verizon – on Thursday, April 27 from 9:30pm–11:00pm on MSG+. The ninety-minute special will provide extensive coverage of the 2017 NFL Draft as it pertains to the New York Giants, bringing fans the latest news, expert analysis and interviews.
The “Voice of the Giants,” Bob Papa along with Giants Super Bowl winners Carl Banks and David Diehl will host the show live from the Quest Diagnostics Training Center, and will provide up to the minute analysis of the Giants draft. Senior Vice President and General Manager Jerry Reese, Vice President of Player Evaluation Marc Ross and Head Coach Ben McAdoo are scheduled for live interviews during the show.
Giants Draft Night Live Presented by Verizon will also include a live interview with the team’s first round pick – the 23rd selection overall – in addition to interviews with Giants legends and current players sharing their draft day memories.
The live show will include a full breakdown and analysis of the picks, a recap of free agency, position-by-position depth and needs, and team-by-team analysis of the NFC East.
“Beginnings: Justin Pugh” will premiere Thursday, April 27 at 10:30pm on MSG and 11pm on MSG+ following Rangers post-game coverage on MSG and the Giants Draft Night Live on MSG+. MSG Networks visits with Pugh, his family and friends in his hometown of Holland, Pennsylvania. Pugh takes MSG on a tour of his favorite spots in town and discusses his journey to the NFL.
